Amazing production values. I guess everyone likes to dress up, and I guess there’s no indigenous holiday that involves wearing costumes (?). Goth and Japanese-themed costume play is big in Dusseldorf. Saturday mornings you can see crowds of German kids dressed up at the main train station. (Dusseldorf has a large Japanese population and several Japanese shopping streets near the train station, which I guess is what attracts them.)
